Although several universities are currently conducting clinical trials for intestinal flora transplantation, there are no other private medical institutions in Japan at this time that are conducting clinical research in an organized manner as a research group.\r\n\r\nWhile there are no legal regulations in place, we are accumulating academic and scientific clinical research on our own, and are constantly working to establish this as a safer and more effective treatment.\r\n\r\nBy incorporating blood tests before and after intestinal flora transplantation, we are not only examining changes in the balance of intestinal flora (intestinal bacteria) due to transplantation, but also the relationship between intestinal bacteria and changes in the body in greater detail.\r\n\r\nAs a clinical report, Dr. Shirotani, Director of Luke&#8217;s Ashiya Clinic and Executive Director of our study group, presented a case report.
