A case of fecal microbiota transplantation for a patient with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). He used to put everything in his mouth, but immediately after the transplantation, he stopped doing so, and the number of situations in which he could tolerate the food increased. The concept of ownership was formed, and communication between parents and children became smoother. This case is considered to be an effect of the transplantation.<\/p>\n\n

They don’t look at each other, but they sit still and receive medical examinations. Sometimes they look at each other.I am now cooler than I was before. No more unnecessary voice leaks. He laughs when he remembers.The primitive reflex to put everything in my mouth disappeared.The original impulsivity has begun to settle down.He did not suddenly start running around town or hold my hand, but he started trying to hold my hand throughout the walk.…Shyness is coming out.The patient is now able to wait. These changes have made it easier for the family (especially the mother), but the transplant has reduced the burden on the family.Tends to be constipated. She has been having a bowel movement every other day since the 6th transplant.During the 18-week interview, the procedure was performed smoothly in response to our calls, although eye contact was not made.The last time I saw him, he seemed cool, but his personality came more to the forefront and he didn’t like it as much.I can see that they are trying to communicate with each other. I can see that he is trying to communicate somehow. His father also feels the change, and a school teacher pointed out that he has an increased smiling face, giving the impression that his growth has been boosted by the transplant.After implantation, the stools were like adult stools with a strong smell for a while, but after 30 weeks, the stools became like a child’s original feces. The smell is not bothersome. Sausage-like stools are being produced.\u2219 When he was alone, he began to feel alienated. The way she cries is like a child.He had a farewell ceremony, but was able to spend the time without voice leakage.
