Notices and Activity Reports

On December 14 (Sat.), a public study session was held by our study group.

On Saturday, December 14, 2019, an open study session was held by the officers and members of the Institute.

At this monthly study session, case reports and basic research on intestinal flora are presented. The meeting is a place for clinicians to study and learn about intestinal flora transplantation as a new medical treatment for many people with confidence.

In the first part for members, Dr. Oka, a clinical technologist at Symbiosis Institute – Coexistence and Co-prosperity with Microorganisms – gave a progress report on his poster to be presented at the annual meeting of the Bacteriological Society of Japan in Nagoya, Japan, February 19-21, 2020.

The second part was an open study session. Dr. Yuichi Kawai of Kawai Internal Medicine Clinic presented a case report “Intestinal Diseases and Intestinal Flora”.
Four people attended this day, including a first-time attendee as an observer from the general public (referrals and supporting members).

We hope to continue our research on a daily basis so that we can report various cases in 2020.
