Dr. Masahiko Shirotani, the executive director of our institute, gave a special lecture on the interim report of clinical research at the 7th Annual Conference of the Japan Society of Preemptive and Clinical Medicine held by the Japanese Society of Preemptive Clinical Medicine on June 22 and 23 this year. The content of his lecture received a lot of positive feedback from the participating doctors and participants.

Dr. Shirotani will report on the results of his clinical research at the 8th Annual Conference hosted by our study group on September 22.

About the Japan Society of Preemptive and Clinical Medicine

Based on the principle of helping cancer refugees and patients with intractable diseases for which no effective standard treatment has been established at this point in time, the organization aims to contribute to the academic development of Japan and the health of the nation by developing effective preventive methods, testing methods, and treatments and conducting clinical research from the perspective of preventive medicine, which is to predict, diagnose, preempt, and intervene before diseases develop that are likely to occur in the future. The purpose of the association is to contribute to the academic development of Japan and the improvement of the health of the nation’s people through the development and clinical research of effective preventive methods, testing methods, and treatments from the perspective of preventive medicine, which is to predict, diagnose, and intervene in advance. The Society holds an annual conference every year to provide a forum for discussion of the latest information both domestically and internationally.
