New medical institution in Okinawa now offers intestinal flora transplants!

January 5 (Sat), Okinawa City, Okinawa, Japanmedical clinicto give a lecture on intestinal flora transplantation. This time, they came to the FMT Clinic in Osaka, where our study group is located. With the motto of “a clinic where you can feel at home,” Yui Clinic is committed to natural childbirth, delicious and safe food, alternative medicine, and activities to promote health, providing health support not only for pregnancy and childbirth, but also for all stages of a woman’s life. Dr. Fumi Shimabukuro, the director of Yui Clinic, opened the clinic after working as a doctor at a general hospital, and through her own experience of delivering and breastfeeding her own four children, she felt a strong desire to create a place that values the bond between parents and their children and a home-like environment that cannot be found in large hospitals. He decided to create such a place by himself and opened Yui Clinic. We are very pleased that you and Dr. Tadao Shimabukuro, a pediatrician, will work together to conduct clinical research on intestinal flora transplantation as a new medical option for the people of Okinawa.
