[SIBO Seminar, General Overview] (Online seminar via ZOOM)
[Seminar Contents] :
“What is SIBO, the relationship between IBS and SIBO, diagnosis of SIBO and systemic diseases SIBO, and treatment of SIBO Q&A”

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which is said to affect more than 10 million people in Japan alone, is said to considerably reduce QOL due to its chronic abdominal symptoms. Recently, SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) has been attracting attention as a cause of IBS. When abdominal symptoms do not improve with conventional IBS treatment, or when systemic symptoms such as skin symptoms, fatigue, insomnia, and allergic symptoms do not improve, it is recommended to suspect SIBO complications. This presentation will provide an overview of the diagnosis and treatment of SIBO as practiced primarily by naturopathic doctors in the United States and Europe. Please join us.
